Men jeg har opdaget, at det ikke behøver være slut med særlig meget, da der er mange tilbud, der tager hensyn til ens ’handicap’.
Det er rart at gøre noget for sig selv, når alt i ens hverdag synes at dreje sig om baby. Jeg ville gerne fortsætte med at træne, og fandt ud af at mit fitnesscenter har mor/barn-hold flere gange om ugen. Her kan baby lege på gulvet mens mor hopper rundt foran. For mig var det oftest uden problemer allerede fra Emil var to måneder, og det er siden kun blevet lettere.
Jeg elsker at komme til frisør. Få serveret kaffe, masseret hovedbunden, lukke øjnene, læne hovedet tilbage og voila – ende op med lækkert hår. Flere frisører tilbyder mor/barn-dage, tjek selv med en hurtig google-søgning i din by. Jeg er først netop blevet klar over konceptet, så jeg har det til gode.
En tredje ting er at kunne gå i biografen. Mange biografer har såkaldt babybio om formiddagen. Selv om det betyder mere lys og lavere lyd i salen, er det stadig bedre end for Gud ved hvilken gang bare sætte sig foran tv’et. Hvis baby sover, holder personalet øje med barnevognen i foyeren, og så er det jo næsten som om, baby slet ikke er der.
Endelig er der restaurantbesøg.Vi har forsøgt en stearinlysmiddag med Emil som det tredje hjul, men det endte med babyskrig, og mad der skulle spises i en fart. Men min erfaring er, at kan du finde et sted med vindue til gaden og barnevognen, så er der større chance for succes. Især hvis Basse sover helt til desserten er spist. Undtagelse fra reglen er, hvis du vælger restauranter som Jensens Bøfhus, hvor der ikke er nogen stikkende øjne, hvis et barn skulle skrige over spildt softice.
