De kampklare hamstere, Kung Zhu Pets, er klar til actionleg på drengeværelset med specielle våben og køretøjer samt den store Battle Arena, hvor Kung Zhu hamsterne mødes for at udkæmpe slagene.

Kung Zhu Pets er små hamstere med hvert deres kendetegn og syn på deres omgivelser. De spæner rundt på gulvet og udforsker verdenen. De reagerer instinktivt og prompte på deres omgivelser, og når man ifører dem deres kampuniform, forvandler de sig øjeblikkeligt til krigere med særlige kamplyde og bevægelser.

”Kung Zhu hamsterne giver en helt ny dimension til legene på drengeværelset. Hamsterne er i direkte interaktion med drengene, og legene er fyldt med aktion. Netop Kung Zhu hamsternes mulighed for transformation og kamp er en kombination af en række legemønstre, som især drenge er vilde med,” siger Martin Wendrich, kategorichef for Zhu Zhu Pets™ og Kung Zhu Pets™ i Norden.

De nye Kung Zhu kamphamstere er del af hver sin gruppe: Kung Zhu Ninja Warriors og Kung Zhu Special Forces. Hver gruppe har fire særlige Kung Zhu karakterer, der sammen med specielle våben, pansre og køretøjer er klar til sprængfyldt leg med action på hver sin måde. Inden for de to grupperinger – Ninja-krigere og specialstyrker – er der klaner, hvor kamphamsterne hører sammen to og to med ens loyalitetssymboler, men hver enkel Kung Zhu hamster har naturligvis sin egen personlighed og kendetegn.

Inden de små hamstere kan forvandle sig til Ninja-krigere eller specialstyrker, skal de trænes til kamp. Til at begynde med spæner de bare rundt på gulvet og udforsker deres omgivelser. Men når først de får iført deres pansre og bliver transformeret af den såkaldte ’Tablet of Zhu’, en kode der aktiverer hamsternes kampindstilling, er de klar til at slås i Battle Arena’en, som er den kampplads, hvor hamsterne mødes og udkæmper slagene.

De nuttede legetøjshamstere Zhu Zhu Pets™ tog sidste år verden med storm. Alene i Norden er der solgt mere end 350.000 eksemplarer af de mekaniske hamstere og omkring 500.000 stykker tilbehør. Med lanceringen af de nye Kung Zhu Pets™ videreudvikles det såkaldte Zhu-Niverse med de kamplystne hamstere, og en masse underholdende tilbehør.
