En barnedåb er forbundet med mange traditioner også omkring gavegivning. Nogen vil gerne give noget, de selv fik som barn eller har givet deres egne børn som Brio-legetøj eller nogen bestemte børnebøger. Og nogen vil gerne give gaver som er traditionelle som et sølvbestik eller en barnets bog.

Jeg har været rundt i forskellige webshops for at finde gaver, som jeg ville give, hvis jeg skulle give en barnedåbsgave til et barn, hvis forældre går op i kvalitet og design. De ting, jeg har fundet, kan både gives til drenge og piger.

Den første ting er tumlemøblerne fra Bobles. Jeg har selv købt flere forskellige til min dreng, og han har glæde af dem hver dag. Jeg er helt vild med de nye i lyst trælook, da de med deres enkle og anonyme look passer godt ind i enhver stue, hvor ens barn og derfor også tumlemøblerne er. I Magasins onlineshop magasin.dk har de et udvalg af tumlebøblerne fra Bobles. På billedet ses (nr. 1) Hval wild nature til 1.299 kr.

En meget klassisk gave er et fødselsdagsflag (nr. 2). Mere klassisk bliver det ikke med Piet Heins flagstang i rustfrit stål. Flagstangen fås i flere størrelser og er fundet på illumsbolighus.dk til 300 kr.

Så er der Hoptimisten. Den fås i mange udgave, både når det kommer til udseendet og materialet. Hoptimisten, jeg har udvalgt, hedder Woody Bimble (nr. 3) og er lavet i egetræ og koster 799 kr., men de kan fås helt ned til 149 kr. På illumbolighus.dk har et stort udvalg af Hoptimister.

På illumsbolighus.dk har de også et udvalg af de klassiske figurer designet af Kay Bojesen. Jeg har udvalgt et flodhest i eg (nr. 4), men du kan få flere andre dyr. Flodhesten koster 649,75 kr.

Værd at tage med er også elefant-sparebøssen Moneyphant fra Georg Jensen. Et godt bud på en moderne udgave af den klassiske barnedåbsgave sparebøssen. Pris 599 kr. på illumsbolighus.dk. Denne sparebøsse er i off white, men den fås i flere farver.
